“GROWING ANTI-RACIST PRACTITIONERS” ~ 6 part fall workshop series

~ specific for wellness, fitness, healing arts, medical, and health practitioners ~

This fall series is a 3 month journey with a group of sincere practitioners, of which we would love you to be a part. In this biweekly ant-racist training, we explore whiteness, implicit bias, and racial literacy. Healing focus is on building your internal toolkit: racial awareness, grounding, inquiry, and authentic action. A brilliant, brave, and personal journey to uncover yourself as an authentic, non-performative, anti-racist practitioner ~ and we don’t stop there ~ this transformative work is purposeful and done in order to actively reduce harm and ensure more equitable healing spaces, health access and therapies for the thriving of all people.

:workshop details:

This series entails a deeper investigation into our own, often unconsciously held, racial/cultural biases. This is not only essential for reducing the harm so often incurred by minoritized communities, but also serves to position practitioners responsibly within their traditions – which often have non-European/American origins. Too often there is great disconnect between the intention to “help” or “be of service”, and the impact on those we aim to serve. By returning to both a deeper and more contextual relationship to the central tenets within these traditions, we can uncover that a just and radically inclusive framework is more often than not already present.

These workshops are designed specifically for you, as a wellness provider, to help you move from overwhelm and doubt, to courage, clarity and action.
